Well done, Bob. You tastefully wrote about an aspect of Shel’s life the public should know about.
I know what a good friend you were to Shel. As I lived only two blocks from Shel in Ocean Beach, I had the pleasure of sharing your company with him when you stayed at the nearby motel while attending the Con. Shel looked forward to your yearly visits and treasured your friendship. You’re a fine example of Shel’s riches in friends.
